It doesn't matter if I select "Ignore bad sectors" or not. ![]() If the log does not show bad clusters, then the problem lies have other suggestions (and I would defer to his advice, if it differs from my ownb). If the Error 23 problem was in fact caused by bad sectors on the C: drive, then this will show up in the log. Thus, I would suggest repeating the imaging attempt with the above option enabled. Select Other tasks > Edit defaults > Advanced.Īlternatively, if you create the image from the Reflect Rescue Environment, then the option to ignore bad sectors is always enabled.This Macrium blog posts allows for the possibility that a disk may have bad sectors that are not fixed by chkdsk /r, and therefore can only be imaged if the option to ignore bad sectors is enabled:
